This Privacy Policy describes how Adams Specialty Services ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Adams Specialty Services Smart Home Alexa skill (the "Skill"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.
The Skill processes voice commands you direct at Alexa in order to control smart home devices (such as lights, locks, thermostats, and other connected devices) in your home. We do not independently collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Voice processing is handled entirely by Amazon's Alexa service in accordance with Amazon's Privacy Notice.
Voice commands are used solely to execute the requested smart home action (e.g., turning on a light or locking a door). No voice data, usage history, or personal information is stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to fulfill the immediate request.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties. The Skill communicates only with your locally hosted Home Assistant instance to carry out device control commands.
The Skill uses Alexa account linking to authenticate your identity and associate your Alexa account with your smart home. Authentication credentials are managed securely and are not stored or logged beyond what is required for the connection to function.
We do not retain personal data. Any session data used to process a command is discarded immediately after the request is fulfilled. You may unlink your account or disable the Skill at any time through the Alexa app.
This Skill is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
